ADMISSION PROCESS FOR MBBS YEAR 2020-21

Applications for admissions are accepted for the 1st Year MBBS. Candidates wishing to apply should refer to following steps for submission of the applications

STEP 1 - APPLICATION PROCESS

Submitting Complete Online Application form to Pakistan Medical Commission in accordance with Eligibility Criteria set forth by the Pakistan Medical Commission.

STEP 2 - INSTITUTIONAL ADMISSION COMMITTEE

The Institutional Admission Committee shall implement the decisions of the PMC for admissions to the college & assess/evaluate the documents.

STEP 3 - FINAL SELECTION

Selection shall be based on review of all the above criteria by the college from the list provided by Pakistan Medical Commission. Successful applicants shall be announced offer to be communicated individually by the college.

STEP 4 - SHORT LISTING OF CANDIDATES

No candidate shall be eligible for admission if the student has not acquired a minimum of 60% marks in Admission Test and 65% in F.Sc / HSSC.
Short-listing shall be based on aggregate weightage of:

* Medical & Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT) (50%)
* F.Sc / Equivalent (30%)
* Interview (20%)

STEP 5 - JOINING THE COLLEGE

Please note that due to limited time allowed for admissions by the Pakistan Medical Commission the College will communicate to the successful candidates selected for admission in IMC to report to the Student Affairs Office immediately after the interview and obtain joining instructions. If the candidate does not deposit the fee on due date his name will be deleted from the list and the next candidate on the merit list will be accommodated.

NOTE: Selected candidates will have to submit original educational documents to Student Affairs within three days of admission. These documents shall be sent to UHS which will be forwarded to concerned Board of Examination for verification purpose. In case any document/information proves to be false/fabricated, admission of the candidate shall stand cancelled. No refund shall be made in this case. Please contact Admission Office in case of any further queries.
